Porsche is stepping out of their comfort zone to bring.. Handbags and Buildings.

Porsche has long been a car brand associated with sleek design and fine German engineering. Now the brand has branched off into an iconic new direction with the release of its first handbag--the Twin Bag.

Each bag is handmade in fine-grade leather in Florence, Italy and is put together with the same precision the brand's cars are known for being constructed with. Available in calf leather, ostrich leather or crocodile leather, the bags which are ladylike and highly structured, come in an array of colors from classic black to bright orange. Each bag is meticulously constructed by artisans who use an electroplating process to produce six different finishes for the metal fittings made from gold, white gold, rose gold, matt gold, silver and chrome and are then polished by hand.

But in true Porsche style, a luxury handbag that looks this good doesn't come cheap. The bags cost around $1,600 to $24,500 and became available in March in all Porsche Design stores and online.

Last month, the Porsche Design Tower in Miami co-hosted a cocktail party to debut the exquisite handbags and give South Florida's jet setters a sneak peak at the first Porsche Design Building worldwide. The breathtaking building located in Sunny Isles, will stand 60-stories and offer residences from 4,200 to 14,000-square-feet and run in the jaw dropping prices range of $3.9 to $21 million. While most residences will include a balcony and pool, that's not even the coolest part. Each unit will offer a parking situation which will lift your vehicle to your floor and drop it near your door. Construction on the tower is underway and slated to open for residents in 2016 leaving you roughly 1,000 days to win Power Ball and slap down a downpayment.
